Gorgun beach is one of the best well-kept secrets beach locations on the Island.

This small beach is one of the most peaceful swimming locations on the island. Located outside of the breakwater just a couple of minutes away from the Gozo Ferry Terminal in Mgarr Ghajnsielem it is a very peaceful and relaxing place away from the hassle and Bassel that you would find in Mgarr Due to the Ferries.

Gorgun beach is mostly frequented almost exclusively by locals making it very quiet and private. Due to being located outside of the breakwater, the beach is very clean and is host to a wide variety of sea life, this makes it another amazing spot for snorkelling.

The large boulders, clean blue water, un epstracted view of Comino and Malta and its hidden away feel make it a plate out of a fairy tale. The beach is a rocky beach and it has a long well-built stairs to go down to it. It is accessible by car with parking nearby, although the views can be reached by people with mobility problems getting to the actual beach with a wheelchair is practically impossible.
