It is simple, as it is typical for Havelländische village churches. The construction of the church was 1730-32. Towards the end of the 19th century, the municipal council decided to reorganize the church. On 02.12.1893 the proud community could celebrate a solemn inauguration. In 1917, the church lost its tin whistle pipes and the old bronze bell on the grounds of an expropriation order. The materials were important to the war effort. Even in the devastating World War II, the church had to give a bell again, this time just the latest. In 1944 and 1945, the church served as a warehouse for optical equipment. In April 1948, the community received a bronze bell. Since the sound of the bell did not fit the existing bells, the bell was later melted. A big celebration was held for the 250th birthday in 1982. The church declined noticeably. In 1985, the phase of reconstruction began. In 1988, the beams were renewed and exterior plaster was added. The interior is bright and friendly. The horseshoe loft wears again after the repair of the organ, which was inaugurated with a concert in July 1999.
