Caffè Pedrocchi played an important role in the uprising against the Austrian occupiers in 1848 and has always been a meeting place for intellectuals. Today there is a cultural atmosphere in the café, where concerts, exhibitions and literary events are organized. Of the many delicacies sold here, you must try the pazientina, a typical Paduan cake consisting of several layers, with sabayon cream. Add a cup of caffè pedrocchi (with whipped cream and mint) to complete it.
