In order to make these identifiable for the visitor, the Botanical Garden has developed its own app for smartphones. If you want, you can also book a guided tour. This garden is the oldest garden (from 1545) in Europe that is connected to a university. Originally, medicinal plants were grown there. The oldest part still exists in its original form and was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1997.
