The square (Plaza de la Victoria) is also known for its beautiful palm, rose and orange trees.
An interesting feature of this plaza is the Jardín de los Monos (Garden of the Monkeys), where there used to be a monkey cage. Now it is a beautiful garden with small statues and a fountain.

If you happen to be in Malaga during end of May, you will have chance to enjoy glorious display of blooming jacaranda trees. They are all around the city but this square has the biggest ones. Enjoy and respect
