Count von Zinzendorf's work, the Moravian community, has survived his life to this day and is respected and respected throughout the world. On June 17, 1722, migrants from Bohemia and Moravia gathered there to renew the religious community of the "Bohemian Brethren", which had been persecuted in their homeland. The count came from an old Lower Austrian noble family that had converted to the Protestant faith in the 16th century. When the Habsburg lands were re-Catholicized, the Zinzendorfs moved to Saxony.
