        The terraced garden is located directly behind the castle. Here you can admire a few decorative flower beds and the flower ornament. In addition, there are always places to sit and rest from where you can enjoy the flowers, the castle and the view down to Bad Liebenstein.

            Very beautiful and well-kept grounds. The flowerbeds right next to the castle are almost like works of art. The arcades are beautifully overgrown and in some places you have a great view.

              The terraced gardens of Altenstein Castle can only be visited in the upper and lower parts. The middle terrace can only be seen from above. Here, leafy paths with dense vines were planted and very elaborate flower beds were designed. Absolutely fascinating and definitely worth seeing.
