Arid valley that turns green just briefly in spring with a famous wildflower bloom and a sacred native site with ancient rock paintings. Bring lots of water, there is only one obscure source in the valley. No pavement, al roads and trails are dirt, rutted, and can turn to sticky mud if wet.
