Pretty wild salt lake in the middle of Carrizo Plains National Monument, it used to be mined for its minerals but now is protected. With the water levels low, it can seem like the landscape is moving in wavy patterns. Quite a remote place, highly recommend bringing more water/food than you think you should, just in case.
