Best time to experience the fantastic wildflower bloom is early April. No drinking water available in the park, also not at the visitor center nor at its restrooms. Bring all water, at least 3 liters per day, from outside. Usually, but not always, there is a water faucet fed by a cattle water tank at KCL Campground, but it it not 100% reliable, and a filter/boiling is recommended.
