Bacharach is a city in the "UNESCO World Heritage Upper Middle Rhine Valley" and an old wine trading post. The neat Fachwerhäuser and the art historical important church buildings invite you to stroll through the cozy streets. Above the village the proud castle Stahleck is threatening. It is now home to a youth hostel. It is not only popular for school trips and family vacations. Even single travelers can stay in the castle.

Bacharach is a nice place to stay either from the Rhine or from the Hunsrück coming and to enjoy the beauties. A Riesling ice cream is always mandatory.
