On the right you have a beautiful view of the lovely Delle valley, where wide fields nestle against the gently rising slope of the Nivellesberg.

The Plasveldweg climbs through a sunken road to the Kapelanenberg, named after a large forest that belonged to the chaplains of the St. Peter's Church in Leuven. This road is described in the tax book of the Sint-Geertrui abbey as 'the footpath from the quarry to Kiesegem'. In a deep depression on the left there used to be an iron sand quarry.

The fields to the right are on the Koezille, named after the evil barren ironstone that rises up there. At the top of the mountain stretches the Warande. This was once a popular hunting ground. Even now you can still see the wooden piers of hunting towers.

But… beware of the werewolf or 'Den Trasser'.
