Former house in Limburg, now Town Hall. Plastered moated building with round towers at the front corners. Founded in the early 15th century by a Knight of St. John, it was extended with two wings in 1460, renovated in 1798 in a classical style, rebuilt and extended in 1940. Interior Louis XVI stucco ceilings and mantelpieces. In the mayor's room a rococo fireplace and panelling, from the house Heuvel 9. A late 18th century coach house and worker's house converted into an office.

The castle is one of the seven castles of Oosterhout, of which five still remain. Opposite the castle on the west side is Slotje Beveren and on the north side is the Slotpark. Further east is Slotje Brakestein.

With its turret and moat, it resembles a small castle. However, its sole purpose was to provide prestige.
In 1939, it was purchased by the municipality and converted into a castle town hall.
Having become too small as a town hall, it now houses businesses and is also used as a wedding venue.
Behind the Limburg castle, a path runs between the zoo and the castle.
