Right next to the D66 nature campsite is the sunny bathing area with a beautiful sandy beach. A special feature are the pine trees whose roots protrude from the sandy ground.

The Schmöldesee is part of the Teupitz-Köriser chain of lakes. The natural bathing area is located in the immediate vicinity of the natural campsite D66. Parking is available in front of the main entrance to the campsite. A signpost with the inscription "Sunny Beach" leads to the right of the entrance onto a forest path through a sparse pine forest. After a few hundred meters you can already see the sparkling water on the left. An expansive sandy beach leads directly to the water of the Schmöldesee. Surrounded by pine trees with gnarled roots, there are many rustic sunny or shady berths in the deep sand and right on the shore. At the upper edge of the beach, tables and benches offer seating. The Fontane hiking trail leads directly past the bathing area and campsite.
