The sound forest in Pelt is part of the Provincial Domain Dommelhof. It is an open-air museum that gives visitors (free of charge) the opportunity to visit, view and above all listen to all kinds of works of art (installations). You can also interact with most of them.

There is no signposted trail, but you can download an app. We ourselves walked fairly criss-cross through the forest until we had "experienced" all the installations. It appeals to both children and adults, especially if they are interested in sound, sound, the interaction between people and sound and of course the interplay of nature with sound. There is really a lot to experience but take your time and let the vibrations, sounds and experiences work on you.

You will of course not find everything equally fascinating, but the forest itself is also beautiful. And those who want to walk briskly can always combine it with one of the beautiful walks and nature in and around Pelt. The works in the sound forest can change, more have already been added in playgrounds and other zones around. The operation of each installation, as well as the artists and inspiration, are explained on the basis of signs and in this all in all small forest you will find nice landscaped areas with the Dommel running through the forest in addition to a beautiful forest.

The sound forest is connected to the Musica Impulscentrum that is located there, as is the Dommelhof theater building.
