This enormous natural sculpture grows over time into a fascinating living sculpture. This is how a “Dome” is woven, a housing for people and animals. With this basic form we go back to the roots of our existence, one of the first life forms, the amoeba, which does justice to the theme. The location, chosen within the Overpelt region, is located behind the mill museum. On an island in the water, the sculpture will completely overgrow the location. The special “salix” variety will manifest itself over time at this beautiful location as a “Living Sculpture” in Overpelt. A starting point for this natural sculpture is the continuity in change and in the growth process. The overall shape of this single-celled amoeba form will change over the years and surprisingly grow into a different overall shape.
