This chapel on the Houzendgat in Houwaart (Tielt-Winge) is dedicated to Saint Joseph. The rectangular brick chapel is shaded by two large lime trees. The chapel, which is not protected, was recently restored.

The chapel dates from 1846 and was renovated for the first time in 1946, on the occasion of its hundredth anniversary. In 2009 it was renewed again and is beautifully decorated, dedicated to "H. Joseph, Patron of Belgium". There is a procession in March.
