London has its Eye, Singapore has its Flyer, and now Scheveningen is following suit: since August 2016 there has been a permanently installed Ferris wheel on the pier, which will remain there permanently. At a height of 40 meters, the "SkyView Pier" allows visitors a unique view over the sea, the beach, the Kurhaus and The Hague. There is space for six people in each of the 36 closed and air-conditioned gondolas.

For 9 euros you can do about 5-6 laps on the Ferris wheel. I think the view from above is very nice. At 8 p.m. the place is closed. This means that in late autumn you might be able to watch the sunset from above.

we couldn't have missed going on a ride on this beautiful Ferris wheel. Next time I'll try the Zipper for more adrenaline :). I enjoyed visiting the Hague as it is a city that was on my visiting list( I've seen as a child some photos of it in a book and they kind of fascinated me). As our stay wasn't that long, we weren't able to visit all the spots we wanted....but next time we will:))
