The Obelisk Blauer Stein is a cozy place on the outskirts of Aachen. The obelisk itself is not particularly spectacular, but it is a very nice starting point for walks and hikes in the Wurmtal.

The "Blue Stone" in the Pauline Grove was built at the end of the 18th century. It is made of Aachen bluestone and was built during the French occupation of the western Rhineland under Napoleon Bonaparte. The adjacent grove bears the name of Bonaparte's favorite sister, Pauline. The obelisk was renovated in connection with the Euregionale 2008 and was integrated into the "White Way", which in turn is part of the new "Pferdelandpark".

The Blue Stone was erected at the end of the 18th century when the region around Aachen was a French department. The obelisk is made of Aachen bluestone. The adjacent grove bears the name of Napoleon's sister Pauline. The obelisk was renovated in connection with the 2008 Euregionale.
