The source of the worm is unfortunately located on a plot of land in the "Aachener Wald" and is then channeled underground through Aachen to behind the Europaring, and then above ground to Haaren. From hair onwards, it is then guided a little closer to nature to the wastewater treatment plant in Wolfsfurth. From there to Übach Palenberg, the worm appears to be completely natural almost everywhere, making the landscape to the right and left of it a highlight of first class.
