For all those who want to take it easy or are no longer so good on their feet, the Heinrich-Schlerf recreation facility in Wald-Michelbach offers the opportunity for short, but still entertaining and nature-loving walks. This gem on the edge of the core community offers something for young and old with the café “Das Elchhaus”, which will open in 2023, the duck pond and the children's playground.

If you want to get active, use the exercise course. With this offer, which was set up in 2015, young and old can keep fit. Try it out - the use of the stainless steel equipment is free!

You will find the facility and the exercise course directly on Rudi-Wünzer-Straße from Wald-Michelbach driving towards Gadern behind the sports field; (coming from Kreidacher Höhe, take the second street on the left; for sat nav: Rudi-Wünzer-Str. 33).

A clear stream flows through the middle of this small park and it's not just children who get their money's worth when they take a refreshing foot bath. The small open-air stage at the café offers the opportunity to attend one or another cultural event.
