An anectode about the chamber car:
The enchanted chamber carriage (From: J. Weidner, “Waldnaabtal and Steinwald”)
Once, when the outfitting car of a damsel of Schwarzenschwal was driving through the Naab Valley and difficult terrain hindered the journey, the angry carter uttered an evil curse, which was immediately fulfilled. Suddenly the devil, who had been summoned as a destroyer, appeared and turned the chariot and horse into stone. Therefore, the more heavily formed parts of the rock scenery are interpreted as the heads of the petrified horses and the high-piled granite benches as the former beds of the chamber carriage.

For some, the chamber car in Waldnaabtal is just a strange rock group of granite. Others know the true story behind it: Once a coachman on the heavily loaded chamber car to bring the dowry of a damsel to Falkenberg. On the arduous path, the wagon stuck, the coachman struck the horses and cursed loudly - whereupon the devil froze the car to stone.
