      The Bellevue is one of the central transport hubs in the city of Zurich. Around 60,000 cars, seven tram lines and two bus lines cross the Quai Bridge there every day. Around 76,000 people get on and off at the public transport stops every day and on some days they can also enjoy a great mountain view from here.

          The view from Bürkliplatz over the lake is simply beautiful, especially when the weather is right and the mountains can still be seen in the background. If you like, you can take the boat from here for a ride across the lake - the same fare as the bus/tram and therefore included in the day ticket (note the zones).

              When the weather is nice, the lakeside promenades are the destination of many walkers, especially in the area of the city of Zurich.
              In the summer months there is a lot of traffic on Lake Zurich; Swimmers, divers, private watercraft and scheduled boats have to share the space.
              Almost 12,000 watercraft are licensed in the canton of Zurich.
