From the barbecue area, you'll enjoy a fantastic view of the Hohenneuffen Castle ruins looming on the horizon. Nothing of note remains of the Liebenau ruins themselves. The barbecue area is open to the public except during flight operations by the Neckartailfingen Air Force Base, which has its headquarters up here.

At the Liebenau Castle ruins, there is a very nice barbecue area with seating. From here, you can enjoy a wonderful view of the valley.
The MFG Neckartailfingen airfield is also located here, on the hill near the former Liebenau Castle.
A rampart, moat, and foundations of Liebenau Castle, which fell into disrepair around 1400, are still preserved. This castle is located in the forest behind the barbecue area.
