The cathedral is well worth seeing. If you are interested in such buildings, you should also visit the Basilique Saint-Remi. For example, the oil for anointing the kings was kept there. It is located south-east of the cathedral. About 30 minutes on foot from here.
The Notre-Dame de Reims Cathedral in the northern French city of Reims is considered one of the most architecturally important Gothic churches in France. It has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1991 and is nationally classified as a Monument historique. For centuries, French kings were crowned here.
