The often photographed town hall ensemble in late medieval half-timbered construction is a real highlight and has no equal. Currently, the main building is undergoing archeological research before being renovated.
The two-storey main building of the town hall was built in 1402, the municipal building next to it in 1535. The building owes the master Ruhalm some carved figures and scenes, all of which have little stories and anecdotes to the origin. For example, the little male in the entablature of the magistrate's building stretches out his bared rump to potential attackers. These unimportant pleasantries are often highlighted in the tourism business.
