The observation point on the southern edge of the Almeaue near Harth-Ringelstein offers a wonderful view of the Almeaue.
You can reach the vantage point via a forest path leading from two sides, which also crosses the single-track track of the alpine track. On the square, a wooden bench invites you to linger. Blocks of green sandstone lead to this elevated bank. The elevation allows visitors to observe the action in the lower lying floodplain while sitting over the parapet of greensand crustal plates.

From the path over the rails of the, I believe, disused railway line, it goes to the lookout point. You should definitely take the little detour with you.
