Access to the parking lot is a bit complicated due to the narrow hairpin bends. No two cars fit next to each other on the entire route of around 7 kilometers, so it is particularly difficult with oncoming traffic. Extreme caution is advised as you can quickly find yourself in “no-go” situations. The track is dotted with small islands where you have to look out for oncoming traffic to reach the island so the oncoming vehicle can pass. The same island principle applies in the tunnels, supported by mirrors that show the clear road. We were on the road around 6:30 a.m. with no oncoming traffic. The return journey around 4 p.m. was a bit of a poker game.

The color of the water is fantastic. A true idyll. For the drive to the reservoir in your own car you need a bit of nerves, as the toll road is quite narrow.
