The town of Aub has preserved its medieval townscape with charming half-timbered houses and a defensive wall from the 15th century (with seven town gates and towers). Worth seeing is the market square with the Gothic town hall, the pharmacy, the market fountain and the baroque Marian column, as well as the Aub Castle and the Pfründnerspital from the 14th century.

The town of Aub is scenic, one of the smallest towns in Bavaria, on the southern edge of the Gollach Valley. With its well-fortified city wall, the towers and its pointed gable half-timbered houses, Aub has preserved its medieval townscape to this day.
