Location and history: Baach is part of the town of Weinstadt in the Remstal near Stuttgart with just under 104 inhabitants. But it is also east of Aichwald near the Schurwald.
Baach lies in a notched valley that cut into the Stubensandstein and the colorful marl south of Schnait, in the center of a valley spider with many springs, where the Beutelsbach, then called the Schweizerbach on the lower reaches, from the confluence of its left main branch Gunzenbach from the left and its right branch Schlierbach is created. The town center is about 315 m above sea level. NN. The place is surrounded by mixed forests and orchards.
The district road 1210 leads in the valley of the Beutelsbach from Schnait to Baach and then over a forest path on the Schurwald surrounding the valley up to Baltmannsweiler.
