Remstal CINEMA
The Remstalkino, is a specially designed viewpoint in the vineyards of Weinstadt. At an altitude of 385m, visitors enjoy the view above the Weinstadt parts of Beutelsbach and Schnait.
This singular vantage point with 26 cinema chairs in steel and chestnut wood invites visitors to take a seat, reflect and enjoy the view of the Remstal, as in a natural cinema. Like in a 3D cinema without a cash register. Almost devoutly, the visitors enter the room, their voices are quieter, they put down their backpacks and fall into the cinema chairs. The performance begins whenever you are ready. Their duration can be determined by themselves.
The scene is always the same, but the movie is constantly changing in the Remstalkino at the "Three Giants" vantage point - with the seasons, times of day, weather, daily, hourly - there's always a new program, depending on how turbulent the weather is right now is, there are dramatic or gentle changes in the appearance of transparency, brightness, proximity and distance, moods, by the effect on one's own state of mind.
Take a seat on one of the 26 chairs and let yourself be abducted - in the garden show year 2019 and long beyond. As part of the preparations for the Remstal garden show in 2019, this project was created in the form of a chair sponsorship. This project was financed in cooperation with the city of Weinstadt by 26 citizens and companies who come from Weinstadt and the surrounding villages in Remstal.
