Welcome to the Owaschepa natural refrigerator (Oberscheidweiler)
Well-filled crates of drinks stand in the constantly flowing cool water, well protected under a wooden crate. Bars and a bench invite you to take a short rest.
Beer and shandy cost € 1.50 each, water and apple spritzer € 1.00 each.
If you don't have change with you to pay your obolus in the provided cash register, you can also pay for your drink in the "Alte Schmiede" holiday apartment in Oberscheidweiler. This is located directly on the 2 brook path, not far from this natural refrigerator.
Since I think this idea is so great, I hope that only honest people help themselves here and also pay for their drinks and keep the surrounding rest area clean, it would be a shame if the offer were not otherwise maintained.
