Between Bad Wimpfen and its district of Hohenstadt lies a wonderful spot on earth, the Fleckinger Mill. The mill has not been grinding grain for more than a generation. Instead, homemade cider and homemade snacks have been offered in our beer garden for more than 30 years. The romantically located mill was first mentioned in documents in 1280.

A "lost place" - the roof has partially collapsed, windows are missing, you can still see the pattern of the old wallpaper. I find the path around the mill very beautiful, as a stream flows to the left and right of it.

Ascent from the so-called Seniorenweg is comfortable and still passable. The path down to the creek is (as of April 2023) not in good condition, some of the stone stairs are missing, caution required
