The 2,300 m long lake is an indispensable local recreation area for the people of Münster and a blue-green oasis in the cityscape of Münster for visitors. Its paths are animated joggers, cyclists and inline skaters and walkers who just want to let the wind blow in their face.When the weather is nice, countless sailing boats share the waters with almost as many pedal boats.The blankets are spread out on the green areas, people eat together, talk and laughs a lot - nobody can escape the relaxed atmosphere on a beautiful summer evening.
