In 1859/1860, a Stations Way leading to the Chapel of the Cross was built. The following entry is in the "Church Foundation Accounts of the Rural Community of Bieberehren...for the budget year 1859/60": "If Georg Kinzinger of Burggerroth donates stations, these will be completely erected with the highest approval."

Years later, a Mount of Olives was built beneath the Stations of the Cross. The year 1881 could indicate the year of the foundation.

The accounts for the budget year 1859/60 also show that the 14 stations were created by the Hassfurt sculptor Jakob Stößel from "Burgpreppacher stone". The sculptor received 1,545 guilders for this work. The carter Rambacher was paid 200 guilders for transporting the stations from Hassfurt to Bieberehren. The 270 steps were set in 1864/65. In 1981, the chapel, the Stations of the Cross, the Stations of the Cross and the Mount of Olives were renovated.

The renovation costs amounted to 82,606.75 DM. This includes 39,101 DM for voluntary work.
