The Tauber is an idyllic, small river that rises near Weikersholz and flows into the Main River near Wertheim after approximately 130 km. It accompanies cyclists almost the entire length of the "Liebliches Taubertal" cycle path between Rothenburg ob der Tauber and Wertheim, offering many beautiful spots for rest stops.

In principle, the "Romantic Road" and "Lovely Tauber Valley" cycle path is easy to ride for everyone and the inclines are not too steep. It looks a little different from this section onwards. Immediately after Creglingen there are passages with gradients in the direction of Rothenburg. No problem with a suitable bike, but with normal touring and trekking bikes including luggage it is a bit more difficult.
Nevertheless, a trip through the wonderful landscape, through fields and forests, is worthwhile. 👍
