Shute Shelve Tunnel, under the Shute Shelve Hill. It is a 165-metre long tunnel that you can safely walk through. The geology changes from soft marl to hard limestone, and tunnel has rare cave spiders and various species of bat.

Once a part of the now defunct Cheddar Valley Line, this railway tunnel forms part of the Strawberry Line traffic-free cycle and footpath. The name 'Strawberry Line' was originally connected to this railway because of the large amount of the fruit transported on it.

This tunnel is impressively cut from the hillside and was the first section of the line to be created. The tunnel extends 590 feet (180 m) and is lit.
