Börnchen serves a bit as a hiking control center. From here you can take various routes to Bärenstein and the Müglitztal in the south-west, to Dittershöhe (Nagelsche column) and Bärenhecke in the north-west, to Dittersdorf in the north, over the Böhmische Steig towards Schlottwitz or to the beautiful Trebnitztal in the east.
In the center of the village there is an excellent country inn (warmest recommendation) 👌, a guild tree and the name-giving Börnchen.

Anyone in the area should not hesitate to visit this traditional inn. Not only because it's the only one in the world, but because everything really fits in there, from the menu to the service - and, of course, delicious food with a cold beer!
