    Klingenzell is known far beyond the region's borders thanks to the pilgrimage church "Seven Sorrows of Mary", but is also popular with hikers because of its beautiful location high above the Untersee and the idyllic Klingenzellerhof country inn. The church is popular as a place of worship for weddings. The patronal feast is celebrated on the Friday after the 5th Sunday of Lent.

                    Hearty pilgrimage church (Seven Sorrows Mary) with a beautiful view. The Restaurant Klingenzellerhof was closed during our hike on Monday. They are open from Wednesday to Sunday.
