          Here you can walk on historical paths in the footsteps of the Pandours
          A total of 8 stages over a total length of 177 km lead from Waldmünchen through the ARBERLAND to Passau.
          The Pandurensteig is a reminder of the invasion of the Bavarian Forest by the Pandur Corps in 1742. The long-distance hiking trail is one of the most desirable hiking trails in Germany. It connects two popular routes in the ARBERLAND: the Pfahlwanderweg (between Thierlstein and Weißenstein) and the Ilztalwanderweg.

          1st stage: Waldmünchen - Cham (23 km - approx. 6 hours)
          2nd stage: Cham - Prackenbach (32 km - approx. 8 hours)
          Cham - Michelsdorf - Laichstätt - Thierlstein - pile playground - Trefling - Pfahlhof - Altrandsberg - Moosbach - Prackenbach
          3rd stage: Prackenbach - Patersdorf (18 km - approx. 4 hours)
          Prackenbach - large pile (upper edge) - large pile near Viechtach - St. Antonius pile (chapel) - Ayrhof - Frankenried - Linden - Patersdorf
          4th stage: Patersdorf - Rinchnach (17 km - approx. 6 hours)
          Patersdorf - Fratersdorf - Chapel of the Holy Helper - Eckersberg - March - Röhrnbach - Regental - Kattersdorf - Weißenstein - Rinchnach
          5th stage: Rinchnach - Spiegelau (17 km - approx. 4 hours)
          Rinchnach - Zimmerau - Wagensonnriegel- Klingenbrunn - Spiegelau
          6th stage: Spiegelau - Perlesreut or Haus i. Forest (17 km - approx. 4 hours)
          Option 1: 26 km - 6 hours via Heinrichsreit to Perlesreut
          Option 2: 22 km - 5 hours to Haus im Wald
          7th stage: Perlesreut - Fürsteneck (15 km - approx. 3 hours)
          8th stage: Fürsteneck - Hals / Passau (19 km - approx. 4.5 hours)

            I can only recommend the hiking trail. But we didn't go on foot but with the MTB's, but still really as organic bikers, without electricity :-)!
            We managed the route in two days, but it wasn't child's play, the Pandours were probably as much altitude junkies as we are, it was around 3,800 meters in altitude!
