The tour is the best if you want to be in a natural area. It won't get boring even with children because there is always something to see. Don't forget to bring a snack - the tour is long! I recommend hiking boots!

The last ascent to the Zittauer Hütte is a bit rocky and steep. Scenic but very beautiful, past waterfalls.

The Wilderlostal is very beautiful. It always goes along the stream. In the upper part are the waterfalls that come from the glacier.

Beautiful view of the glacier. In recent decades, this (and many others) glacier has shrunk considerably and in recent years it only seems to be going faster 😢.

Through this wonderful green valley runs a strong creek all the way up to the gletsjer it originates from. When you are hiking to the Zittauer Hütte, you get to enjoy almost all of it. Definately worth the hike!

Great view on the glacier. Also contains some information about the glacier throughout the years. It's really scary how much this glacier has melted over the last decades.
