The Ponte de Pria, also known as the Stone Bridge, crosses the Botteniga River and connects Viale Frà Giocondo with Viale Burchiellati. This solid structure, characterized by a humpback arch profile, has seven arches that welcome the waterway at the entrance to the city. The river then divides into three branches: Cagnan Grando, Buranelli Canal and Roggia. The bridge's origins are shrouded in history: its design is believed to be the work of Fra' Giovanni Giocondo, known for designing Treviso's Renaissance fortifications between 1509 and 1511. The structure was then rebuilt in 1521, during the podestà . of Priamus Legio, as reported by Burchelati in his "Commentariorum memorabilium multiplicis historiae Tarvisinae locuples promptuarium" of 1616. Today, walking across the bridge, you can observe the lively flow of the water and imagine the reflections of history passing through it places have gone .
