For advanced skiers, a round from Heimgarten over the ridge to the Herzogstand (or vice versa) is no problem. But the view along the ridge is phenomenal at all times.

The ridge is easy to see and doesn't look as spectacular from a distance as it does from close up. However, you should only go if you have a head for heights and have a certain surefootedness. The ridge is not suitable for a Sunday walk in floppy shoes. 😆 But when, an absolute MUST. It's a bombastic setting.
