does the sun shine today? Is it comfortable to warm? Then just 100 steps to the west and try one or more of the homemade and sometimes unusual types of ice cream at “Watt‘n Eis”. My favorite on this vacation: Sea buckthorn stracciatella.

The West Village is the actual communal center of the island. Here you will find all the important facilities, such as post office, all sorts of small shops, tourist information, the island market and Edeka. Many restaurants have settled here and not to forget the two village churches.

Anyone walking along the dune wall will be rewarded with lots of information and art.

A tip is the ice cream from the island cafe! At the "Watt'n Ice-Window" there are an incredible number of ice creams and one delicious than the other. Opening hours of the ice window from 15.7. until 26.8. daily from 10:00 to 22:30.
