A hike through the mudflats from the mainland to the island is worth it! However, only with a trained mudflat guide. Since the conditions in the tidal flats are constantly changing with the tidal currents, it is dangerous to go to the tidal flats without an expert guide. For the passage of some places there is often only a small time window before and after low water - there is no GPS track that might help. For your own safety, only with a mudflat guide into the mudflats. I have had good experiences with the following mudflat guides:
