The Eendenmeer ("Duck Lake") in Bergen, popular with hikers, is a wonderful, water-rich area that has been restored to its former glory in recent years.
Today a lot of heather and bell heather can be seen here again. A lot of vegetation was cut away around the moor, so that the view of the Eendenmeer was improved. The nutrient-rich moor attracts many geese and ducks. There is a three-kilometer hiking route on paved paths around the Eendenmeer.
