The Peace of Prague was intended to end the war between the Catholic League and the Protestant Imperial Estates, not entirely successfully, the Thirty Years' War lasted until 1648 and was only ended with the Peace of Westphalia, but at least it brought Lübben to Saxony, which then only came with the Congress of Vienna (1815) became Prussian. Lübben has two Postmile columns, both of which were erected in 1736. One stood in front of the Spree Gate and was later removed, its base now stands as the Ljuba Stone in the grove, not far from this pillar. The other column stood at the former Luckau Gate.
