The Fontaine des Tuileries is an integral part of the Tuileries Garden, one of the oldest and most iconic parks in Paris. Located between the Louvre Museum and the Place de la Concorde, this garden was designed in the 17th century by the famous landscaper André Le Nôtre.
The garden features several ponds and fountains, with the large octagonal pond being one of the most prominent. These fountains not only beautify the garden, but also offer a place of rest and contemplation for visitors.

The Jardin des Tuileries bears its name because of the tile factory that existed in the place where Queen Catherine de Médicis had the Palais des Tuileries built in 1564, which has now disappeared.

The pond with fountain provides some refreshment on hot days, when many Parisians flock to the Tuileries to enjoy the weather. Wonderful place to experience the great outdoors in the big city.
