Thousands of visitors populate the city's narrow streets when the colorful, loud and lively market takes place on Saturday mornings. On Google you can find out that such markets also take place in the nearby villages of Piedmont and Lombardy. The Bellinzona market is certainly the most authentic in Ticino and has a centuries-old tradition. People meet in the historic center, chat with friends and acquaintances and buy regional, freshly-dewy products at over 100 market stalls.
