A wonderfully small (250-hectare) zoo located in the city park. Relaxed and friendly staff. Two large children's playgrounds invite them to romp around: tierpark-eilenburg.de.

Small but beautiful is the motto of the Eilenburg zoo. 300 animals from 50 species have their home in the four-hectare green oasis in the middle of the city park. In addition to the outdoor monkey enclosure, where our toque monkeys can romp around, there are pigs, horses and donkeys to watch in the pet house and in the paddock.

Everything is superbly presented. The entire zoo is clean and well maintained. It is very suitable for children. Lots of information and the garden landscaping is impeccable. Toilets (super clean) and a good restaurant round off the visit positively. Only the entrance fee is too low.
